Concious man

It is a very good description of the content, or at least of the title. On the other hand, it has the ingredients that offer some mistery to incite the reader in opening the pages of this book. The image shows me that man as a species is transformed metaphorically into this statue that is guarding an eternal desert of the reality, carying all its meanings along the string of biological, geological and astronomical history. The greatest enigma for me is that although the surrounding universe is already abstract, here comes the human mind with it's own abstractions, trying to become a projection of it's enviroment. The two building blocks of the mind puzzle that rest on the sand, are representing to me the fact that the work is still in progress, or that the person trying to solve the puzzle took a very long vacation.
