This is my favorite animal, and this information makes it even cooler!

It is an amazing animal.
Did you know it can adjust the ballast by pumping water in and out of their shell, and perform exactly like a submarine, or I should say subs perform exactly like they do lol.

haha That's so cool! Some of the best inventions mimic the genius design of nature. If only we could photosynthesize using solar panels...

Yes, that would be an interesting concept. I guess we have enough man made things emitting CO2 to maintain the forests CO2 quota. If we were photosynthesizing we would emit O2.

Well we already exhale CO2, so I guess we have that covered as well. X)

It did! It was in front of 8 professors, so I was really nervous. Now I'm just waiting for a grade.

I love these guys. But during their mating season they can be beach hogs!

Lol! I guess so, but they got to do what they got to do. Remember it's their beach, and we're visiting.

Lol.Your right. Once you get past the swash zone its all good. Just a lot of "pardon me"s and "I didn't know they bent that way"s before I get out there.

I thought so since your talking about beaches.
So you don't have to worry about cold winters like we do. Summer has just settled in for us, so I feel great.

I have never seen snow, I don't know if I would like it or not. I looks beautiful but I think my blood would be to thin. 100+ no problem, anything below 60 degrees Im freezing to death. Sorry Im chatting up your comment boxes.

That's alright, that's what it's there for.
I'm like you I hate the cold, but I have to tolerate it here in Ontario. I love the blistering heat, just like today.

It's a living fossil. [link] It's a bird. Its young have two claws at the wing joint- it's a remnant from archaeopteryx.

Ya, I saw a show about Horseshoe Crabs and how they choose a mate based on what they see, it was a very cool show but it was also a while ago since I saw it so I can only remember a few parts.

Sounds very interesting. I love documentaries on animals, especially National Geographic.
I would like to invite you to visit my music site [link] when you have the time.
There's also a poll concerning my music, located on my DA profile page below my ID, if you would like to participate. Your feedback is appreciated.
Happy new year.
